The SWCC Drama Club will be performing Agatha Christie's famous play, And then there were None, during the spring 2018 semester. Auditions for the play will take place Tuesday, Dec. 12, and Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 3-5 p.m. both days, in the Instructional Center, room 145.
Christie's play is an intense suspense filled show that will leave audiences questioning who the murderer is. This play will be performed with the audience on the stage, similar to the Drama Club's production of Gas Light a few years ago. Those from the Gas Light audience can speak to the intense experience that provides. As such, seating will be limited each night.
Rehearsals will begin when school resumes in January and will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 3-5 p.m., in the SWCC Performing Arts Center theater. The show will be performed March 29, 30, and 31.
No experience is necessary, and auditions will consist of cold readings.
The plays will be directed by Kelly Franklin, SWCC Drama Club sponsor. Franklin has extensive theater experience having performed professionally for years. She has been directing for almost five years and very much enjoys helping actors build fantastic characters.
