Creston— The Southwestern Community College board of trustees met electronically on Tues., January 9, 2018, at 7:30 a.m., for their regular monthly board meeting. The meeting originated from the president’s office in the Administration Center.
During the meeting, the board had a brief discussion regarding the services being provided by the college to former Ferrara Candy Co. employees following the company shutdown in December.
Dr. Barb Crittenden, SWCC president, spoke briefly, during the President’s Report, regarding the college-wide software conversion under way during winter break. Training for all system users is planned for the Jan. 15, 2018, all-staff in-service.
